About Susie Davenport

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a Murfreesboro real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

My Background

I moved to Murfreesboro in 2003 from Southern Illinois and have made it my home.

I graduated from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and then from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with two Master’s degrees: one in Computer Information Systems and another in Business Administration. Prior work experiences include IBM Global Services, Edward Jones, and the MTSU School of Business.

Two of my passions are travelling and helping others. I have been able to combine these interests by going on many trips. One of my favorite places is Light in Africa (www.lightinafrica.org), a children’s home on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania . I have worked at the children’s home twice and will return throughout my life.

Other mission work includes Cameroon , West Africa, and Ciudad Juarez , Mexico . In addition, I have worked in Carara National Park in Costa Rica , studied abroad in China , and enjoyed a brief trip to Paris.

I feel that my international experiences and meeting new people have broadened my horizons and have made me a more well rounded and grateful person. One of the reasons I love real estate is that I constantly meet new people. Due to its incredible job growth, Murfreesboro attracts people from all over the USA and world. Getting to know these clients and their “culture” from which they come is such an interesting part of real estate.

I am proud to be part of the highly successful Turner-Victory Team at Bob Parks Realty. In 2006, our team produced over $41 million in sales! We were also proud to be ranked by the Nashville Business Journal in February 2007 as one of the largest Nashville area residential real estate teams in net dollar volume of transactions. Additionally, we were  #1 in Sales Closed, #1 in Listings Closed, #1 in Combined Sales and Listings for Bob Parks Realty, Murfreesboro and Rutherford county. Go Turner-Victory Team!
